Students forced to clean sewage in Okara, education officer suspended
After a video of him ordering children to clean gutters went popular on social media, Okara's assistant education officer was suspended on Monday.

They were pushed to do so by Samiullah, the district's assistant education officer.
Samiullah was suspended and then jailed after the video went viral on social media. He has been the subject of an investigation.
When he first saw the footage, the area's chief education officer was shocked. "We can't allow anyone to take advantage of pupils in that way."

The parents of the youngsters, on the other hand, have petitioned Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar to take swift action against officers who abuse their positions.
