Shafqat Mahmood directs IBCC to issue equivalence certificate to A Levels students before Jan 19
Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood on Wednesday directed the Inter-Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC) to issue provisional equivalence certificates to A-levels students before January 19.
The certificate of equivalence is mandatory for Cambridge and other international board students to secure admission in all Pakistani universities and colleges.

Taking to Twitter, the minister said:
"To all A level students. I have asked IBCC to issue provisional equivalence certificates based on previous exam results before Jan 19," he said in a tweet.
The minister also directed IBCC to issue the certificates timely so that students could apply for medical and other professional educational institutions.

"Applications can be made through TCS or personally to IBCC offices," he added.
