QAU councils allegedly kidnapped and tortured students in Islamabad
It has been said that five students from the Quid e Azam University in Islamabad have allegedly been kidnapped and tortured by groups or councils in QAU. It has been stated by other students that these councils are based on ethnicity and regularly harass students in QAU.

Students have come out in Protest for their fellow students and demand that they be rescued, students have accused the capital police in not doing enough for their safe return. The incident came to notice when students started tweeting the issue on twitter and made the #QauCouncilsKidnappedStudents trending on twitter.

Some have emphasized the importance of student unions and that they may be restored and all other groups be banned for the safety of students studying in these universities.
