Pakistan plans to open all universities for Afghan students: Fawad Ch
Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhary said that Pakistan wants to establish a Campus of COMSATS in Qandahar, Province of Afghanistan.
While addressing a Science and Technology, at the Second Youth Entrepreneurs Conference organized by CRSS, the objective of the conference was to provide the young entrepreneurs from both countries an opportunity to share ideas and experiences.
The minister was confident about Pakistan’s inclination to open nearly all its universities to Afghan students who seek to get their higher education in Pakistan along with the formation of scientific and incubation centers all across Afghanistan. According to him, only quality education and growth can guarantee a bright and protected future for students.
He agreed that there is a huge burden on the youth of both countries to overlook the differences and put aside hostilities and work together for a healthier future, which can only be attained through innovation in the field of science and technology and learning from the past.
"Security and prosperity of Afghanistan and Pakistan are highly interconnected, so both countries should work together for their mutual benefits," said the Afhan Ambassador Najibullah Alikhil.
He also said that an extraordinary development has been made through Pak-Afghan corporations, particularly through people-to-people communications. He hoped that mutual projects of the public and private sectors will benefit in augmenting associations between the two countries. He also believed the significance of such conferences and youth’s voices in increasing the consensual trade ties between the two neighbors.
