No-exam policy does not apply on Punjab board 10th class students, Says Shafqat Mahmood
The Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood said on Thursday that grade 10 students from Punjab board are exempted from government’s ‘no-board-exams’ policy as they have already appeared in the exams.
According to the sources, the grade 10 students in Punjab were only waiting to be assessed on the practical and had already given the written exams for the matriculation. The education department will soon issue details regarding the policy as per the sources.
The local media reports state that sources in Education Department has said that grade 10 students are more likely to get 50 percent marks for the practical examination with an additional grace marks in order to make the promotion process easier for students.
