New dates for the postponed exams announced by Federal Board
The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has released a revised schedule for the matric exams, which had been postponed due to the political unrest in Islamabad.
The postponed matriculation examinations, which were originally scheduled to take place on May 25 and 26, will now be retaken on June 8 and 9 respectively, according to the official announcement issued by the Controller of Examinations.
The rescheduling of written Matric examinations has delayed the start of practical tests, which will now begin on June 10 instead of June 6.
Students should visit the FBISE website to obtain their updated roll number slips. The remaining matric exams will take place as scheduled, according to the announcement.
Despite the uncertain law and order scenario in Islamabad, the FBISE confirmed earlier this week on Tuesday that the matric final exams would be held as planned.
