Board exams also postponed in Islamabad & Rawalpindi
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi has stated that all exams planned for May 26 would be postponed. The decision was made due to unavoidable events, according to the statement.
The BISE Rawalpindi reported in a press release that the exams scheduled for Thursday have also been postponed due to a notification from the Punjab Higher Education Department.
New dates for these exams will be announced later, according to the statement, and all students will be notified beforehand.
Roadblocks have been reported in twin cities (Islamabad and Rawalpindi) as well as other parts of the country, notably Punjab and KP, as a result of the Pakistan Tehreek-i- Insaf's rally towards the federal capital.
This has caused rather uncertainty across the province and has majorly affected education and institutions.
