Lahore College for Women University Included in World Ranking
For the first time, Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) has been listed in the Times Higher Education World University Ranking 2023. As the only all-female university in Pakistan to make it into the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, LCWU holds an honorable distinction.
The Women's University has also got the honor of being included in the 29 recognized universities of Pakistan and 16 universities of Punjab.
These universities are included in the world university ranking.
According to the Global University Ranking, Lahore College for Women University has been ranked in the top 1000 universities of the world in ten subjects out of twenty-one. The institution offers 11 subjects that rank among the top 1000-1200 in the world.
Prof. Bushra Mirza, Vice Chancellor Lahore College for Women University, says that the university's appearance in this year's world ranking is a great achievement.
There were 21 categories in which the institute was included. Vice Chancellor LCWU said that working together would help the university rise to the top. She also attested that hard work and professionalism of the faculty members and staff made this possible.
