Lahore Institute of Science & Technology Opens Admissions for 2022
The following is the Admission Policy for all programs for the Academic Year 2021-22 for Affiliated Colleges.
Policies on admission to BS (4-Year) Programs, MBA (Professional)/MBA (Executive) under the semester system, and M.A./M.Com (2-Year) Annual Programs.
- Males and females with Punjabi domiciles are eligible for admission.
- Students with at least 45% marks in FA/F.Sc./I.Com/ICS/B.A/B.Com or equivalent examinations are eligible to apply for all programs except:
BS (SE), BS Engineering Technologies (Electrical/ Civil), DPT, where at least 60% marks are required as per the requirement of the respective Councils.
- The admission will be based on the marks obtained in FA/F.Sc./I.Com./ICS/B.A/B.Com or equivalent examinations in 2021 and 2020. For admission, candidates from earlier sessions will be deducted 10 marks for each year.
- Provisional admissions will be granted after verification of certificates from the relevant secondary schools. The IBCC Islamabad/Lahore (where applicable) must provide an equivalence certificate.
- The maximum age limit for BS (4-Year) Programs is 22 years at the time of application.
- In special cases, age relaxations are granted by the competent authority up to 5 years, e.g. up to 2 years by the college principal & more than 2 years by the Vice-Chancellor of GCUF after accommodating all fresh candidates.
- Application deadline for the Master/MBA Program is 28 years old. In special cases, the competent authority may grant age relaxation up to 5 years.
- The maximum age for MBA (Executive) programs is 45 years old.
