KP Government University Employees Hope to Solve Contract Problems
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Chief Minister has created a seven-member committee to solve the problems of contract university employees. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Chief Minister Taimur Saleem has been appointed Chairman of the Jhagra Committee, according to a statement.
Members include four ministers and three secretaries while Minister for Higher Education Kamran Bangash and Local Government Minister Faisal Amin Gandapur are also included in the committee.
The committee has been directed to gather information about contract employees. Additionally, it will also estimate the cost of permanent staffing. Members have been directed to prepare a detailed report and submit it within a month.
It should be noted that contract employees of government universities staged a dharna (protest) in front of Bani Gala to resolve the issues.
