International Islamic University announces admission policy
The Islamabad International Islamic University (IIU) has finalized its admission policy and will announce the admission procedure from 14 June. Students around the country can apply for online admission in 115 programs of university until 31st July.
This decision was taken in an online meeting on Friday between the rector of IIUI Prof. Dr. Masoom Yasinzai and President IIU Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh. Acting President IIUI Dr. Aqdas Naveed Malik, vice presidents, deans, and other relevant officials had also attended the meeting
The participants openly discussed the admission policy, online teaching strategy, and the open book online exam. Dr. Jummani trained the department heads regarding open book examination.
IIUI Rector claimed that the global epidemic of the virus has seriously affected the education sector. He said shifting to alternative methods and mediums of teaching are important. He applauded IIUI’s efforts in the wake of the outbreak and hoped the online policy and training would help restore the academic process.
Dr. Ahmed Yousif Al-Draiweesh said that the university has quickly responded to the circumstances and that it is an achievement in preparing well-balanced online teaching and examination in a very short period.
