HEC & Microsoft Introduce certification from home platform
The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) and Microsoft have launched a program to offer a Home Platform Certification to students. According to the agreement between HEC and Microsoft, the first 2000 students to register for the Certification will receive the certifications free of cost.
The initiative is to help reduce the gap between education and employment, as, during the pandemic, students will be able to gain more expertise. Over the past decade, Microsoft has been a collaborator of HEC in expanding the use of IT in the higher education sector.
