HEC chairman to do a live session on "fake degrees" issue
Dr. Tariq Banuri, Chairman of Pakistan's Higher Education Commission (HEC), will discuss fraudulent degrees in a live session on March 17, 2021.
Dr. Banuri will not only advise and educate students about the problem of fake degrees during the discussion, but he will also have a live question-and-answer session.

According to a press release, the live session will begin at 2 p.m. and will be broadcast on edutv.hec.gov.pk, with students able to post their questions in real-time to @edutv_hec on Twitter.
The HEC provided guidelines for students on the attestation of laminated papers for authentication only a few days ago.

According to a notice, students who want their documents attested by the HEC need not submit laminated or plastic-coated copies to correctly affix the stamps on the documents, allowing the commission to distinguish between fake and genuine documents.
