Govt announces admission quota for the merged tribal districts
The government of Khyber Pakhtukhwa (KP) has announced the admission quota for the students of merged tribal districts in the medical and dental colleges in the province.

The Chief Minister (CM) of KP, Mahmood Khan, said that the government has approved the admission quota for applicants hailing from tribal districts to provide best education opportunities to students.
The announcement made by the Homes and Tribal Affairs Department in an official notification stated that the provincial government has allotted a total of 334 seats, of which the combined merged district quota is 234.

Likewise, 11 seats have been reserved for tribal districts at the sub-divisional level, 29 seats for the residential quota of tribal districts, 56 seats would be given on the basis of applicant’s respective tribe, and 4 are reserved for the merged sub-division inner quota.
