Higher Education Minister Raja Yasir Humayun said that an entire academic year was missed due to the closing of educational institutions due to the Coronavirus epidemic, which significantly impacted more than 40 million students from grade 1 to Ph.D. prompting 9 million students to give up education.

Although the provincial government is seeking to get the school system back on the right track, it will take another year for students to recover from the lack of education suffered last year.
