Education department KPK proposes not give vacations to teachers
Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Department has proposed not to give leave to teachers. When there are no online facilities in the schools, all the students will be called to school weekly to assign homework.

Because of Corona's second wave, the federal government has announced that educational institutions across the country will be closed from November 26 to December 24, and winter vacations will be started from December 25 to January 11. The announcement was made by Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood at the Provincial Ministers Conference in Islamabad.

In this regard, it has been recommended that all the provinces prepare their schedules according to their procedures. After the announcement, the education department officials have made recommendations to the provincial government stating that most schools in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa do not have online facilities, so only students must be given vacations from November 26 to December 24 teachers should come to schools regularly.
The recommendations will be presented today to the Provincial Minister of Education.
