Benazir Bhutto Mazdoor cards to provide free education and grants to labours in Sindh
The Government of Sindh has announced Benazir Bhutto Mazdoor cards for the thousands of labourers in the province which would enable them to get free education and grants apart from free healthcare facilities.
According to reports, the government has announced the distribution of 650,000 health cards to industrial labourers in the initial stage of the program. However, the distribution will be extended to five million laborers.

The card holder and their families will be able to get education benefits and grants as well as free and subsidized treatment in all the government managed hospitals in the province.
The card contract was signed between the Sindh Employees’ Social Security Institution (SESSI) and National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) last year.

The idea of Mazdoor cards is to curb the corruption in the labour department and to extend aid to more and more people in the province.
The “modern and flawless” cards will be issued by NADRA, which will maintain the data of the registered labourers and their families.
