Cambridge International Scholarships
Overview
The University of Cambridge will offer, via the Cambridge Trusts, the Cambridge International Scholarships to highest ranked international students undertaking PhD studies at the University. For UK and Irish nationals, the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards is similarly offered.

Target group:
The Cambridge International Scholarships International are for students who are required to pay University fees at the international rate while the Vice Chancellors Scholarships are for UK and Irish nationals who are required to pay fees at the domestic rate.
Scholarship value/inclusions:
The scholarships pay the University Composition Fee and a maintenance allowance sufficient for a single person.
Eligibility:
A University Committee draws up one ranked list of all PhD candidates across all disciplines. The only factors taken into consideration in agreeing this list are academic qualifications, references and research potential. The financial situation of applicants does not affect the selection of scholarship winners.
Application instructions:
All applicants should complete the funding section of the online application form via the Applicant Portal expressing their ‘wish to be considered for funding’. Applicants who wish to start their PhDs in in 2020-21 must apply by either the 3 December 2020 or 7 January 2021 deadline, whichever deadline is appropriate for your course.
