Teachers seek salaries in Timergara
The teachers of basic education community schools on Monday complained they had not been paid salary for last 10 months.
Talking to journalists in Timergara, a group of teachers claimed Rs1 billion had already been released, but the elementary and secondary education department was yet to pay them.
They threatened to stage a protest sit-in outside the Chief Minister’s House in Peshawar if their salaries were not released within 15 days.
