UET makes major cuts in salaries of teachers amid pandemic
The University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, has started making a deduction in the salaries of staff and employees while facing the worst financial crises.

According to reports, the coronavirus pandemic has driven the university in the deep financial crunch it has ever faced, which has forced the university management to make significant cuts in the salaries of the employees.

The teachers and other staff are baffled by the decision taken by the university amid pandemic. In contrast, Teaching Staff Association has called an emergency meeting after hearing the news of the salary deduction of UET employees and teachers.
