Students excelled in KU’s mental quiz competition
As part of Pakistan Day celebrations, Pakistan Quiz Society International (Registered) organized a big mental test competition at the University of Karachi, which was attended by a record 47 teams from colleges and universities.
During the quiz, questions were also asked about Pakistan's history, i.e. the War of Independence between 1857 and 14th August 1947.
Girls dominated the event, holding the top three positions. Iqbal got the second position while Anusha Khan and Araj Noor of Government Degree Girls Science and Commerce College Gulshan Iqbal secured third place.
The competition was well organized by Secretary Bikramjeeb Al Hashemi. The judges were Vice Chairman Syed Javed Razanqvi, Member Executive Council Professor Ayaz Tirmizi and Joint Secretary Arif Soomro.
In addition to the chief guest, former test cricketer Rashid Khan, the event's chairman, Sardansh Ahmad Siddiqui, the event's chair, Dardansh Ahmed Siddiqui, and the guest of honor, Atif Zafar Bukhari, awarded prizes to the winners of the program.
Students and teachers were present, including renowned quizzer Professor Jamila Khanum.
