The Senate committee expressed concern on several incidents of mismanagement at IIUI.

It expressed concerns over the non-implementation of the inquiry report into the murder of a student and the rape of another at the IIUI. The committee also questioned the role of IIUI Rector Dr Masoom Yaseenzai and Vice President Dr Nabi Bakhsh Jamani.

The panel considered taking up the removal of Dr Muhammad Mushtaq of the IIUI department law and he would be given an opportunity for a personal hearing at the next meeting.

The panel also discussed reforms in the field of technical education.
