Schools should be reopened on Jan 11, Tarakai suggests
The Education Minister Khyber Pakhtukhwa, Shehram Khan Tarakai has advised to reopen educational institutes across the country from January 11, 2021.

While talking to the media, Tarakai said that the suggestion to open education institutes will be brought forth in the Inter Provincial Education Ministers Conference (IPEMC) scheduled to be held on January 4 2021 to review the decision on reopening of educational institutes.
Recently, the Education Minister Punjab, Murad Raas has said that reopening of educational institutes doesn’t seem possible keeping in view the current situation of Coronavirus in the country. However, the minister had said that keeping the educational institutes closed is the most viable option in the present circumstances.
Meanwhile, Education Minister Sindh, Saeed Ghani also said that the reopening of educational institutes in the province with the rising number of coronavirus seem bleak amid the second wave of Coronavirus outbreak.

In November, the NCOC had recommended to shut down educational institutes from November 26, 2020 to January 11, 2021 in the wake of the second wave of Coronavirus pandemic.
