Punjab: Murad Raas Announces the ‘Good News’ for Teachers
Murad Raas, Punjab's Education Minister, made a big announcement Tuesday regarding the regularization of education jobs.
He tweeted that Punjab's 14,000 teachers have received good news with the file for their regularisation initiated, signed, and advanced.
A minister had announced in March that 15,000 teachers would be recruited in schools to overcome the shortage of instructors. However, the PTI government was removed in April and the process was put on hold.
The summary to hire teachers was initiated last month by Murad Raas, who took over the charge last month.
