Punjab announce dates for matric and inter final exams

Punjab’s Education Department has issued a date sheet for the annual final exams of matriculation and intermediate.

According to the official notification, matric and inter exams will begin from 10 July in two phases in province amid coronavirus pandemic.

In the first phase exams will begin on 10 July for classes 12 and 29 July for class 10.

In the second phase, exams of 11 and 9 will be commenced, starting from 13 August and 29 August respectively.

Punjab’s Education Department has sent the directives to schools and colleges in the province to follow strict execution of COVID-19 SOPs including sanitization while ensuring that all students and staff wear face masks and maintain social distancing.

It is pertinent to note that IPEMC has decided to take exams of elective subjects only for matric and inter classes in order to provide ease to the students amid the Coronavirus pandemic.
