New School Schedule Announced by Punjab's Education Minister
Because of the rising number of coronavirus infections in both Rawalpindi and Lahore, the Punjab government has announced a new schedule for public and private schools in both districts.
Dr. Murad Raas, the provincial minister of education, has declared that classes 1 to 6 will be staggered until February 15, meaning that half of the kids in these classes will attend school on alternating schedules.
Meanwhile, children in Classes 7 to 12 will have regular classes with 100% attendance because students aged 12 and up must get vaccinated against the coronavirus.

Dr. Raas has also asked students and teachers to observe the provincial Health Department's COVID-19 SOPs.
As the country strives to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, NCOC extended all existing COVID-19 restrictions on several sectors, including education, until February 15th. On the 10th of February, it will meet again to discuss these limits.
From February 1, the NCOC will begin a compulsory COVID-19 vaccination campaign for students aged 12 and up. sentry testing is already underway at educational institutions in preparation for targeted closures in areas where the virus is widespread.
