National Assembly members seek MDCAT 2020 re-exam
Islamabad: During a session of the National Assembly's Standing Committee on Health on Monday, the Pakistan Medical Commission came under criticism over how it organized last year's Medical and Dental College Entry Test (MDCAT 2020).
Khalid Hussain Magsi chaired the session. PPP lawmaker Shazia Sobia voiced the Sindh government's concerns, said 37 exam questions were identified out of the syllabus because many candidates faced problems.

She said that during a court hearing in Punjab, the PMC had acknowledged that 14 questions were out of the syllabus and urged a re-test. The lawmaker asked why the Center is taking the exams and not the provinces. "The children's future is at stake," she emphasized.
She said representatives from the PMC should testify before the committee. The Standing Committee chairman said that "no one takes it seriously" He said it was the duty of officials to appear before the committee and that it was not a problem of ego.

Magsi said the PMC was made out of "stubbornness" and without homework.
Dr. Faisal Sultan, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Imran Khan on Health, maintained that the test was performed using a universal process, adding that he would determine the reservations of the committee's PMC.
