Karachi University's Dept. of Pharmacy ranks top at 151-200 QS Ranking
The faculty of pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences of the University of Karachi has ranked at 151-200 best pharmacy schools around the globe, in the recent QS World University Rankings.
The rankings are awarded to the universities around the world on the basis of their academic performance, employer reputation and research impact, said the department on Thursday.

To highlight the achievement, the varsity had arranged a ceremony in the council room of the new pharmacy department building with the KU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Khalid Mahmood Iraqi in presence.
The varsity said that the faculty of Pharmacy has produced approximately 9,000 graduates whereas more than 150 high-quality publications in the last five years.

Furthermore, the department was able to produce 8,000 citations of the research papers and journals of the faculty to date are on the credit of the faculty of pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences. The department has also awarded 253 PhD, 338 MPhil, and 358 MPharm.
