Japan offers jobs to Pakistani students
To import qualified workers from Pakistan, the Japanese Embassy in Islamabad wants to partner with local universities to provide Japanese language courses.
"We [the embassy] want to promote Japanese language education here mainly to help Pakistanis who want to go to Japan for employment," Matsuda Kuninori, the Japanese ambassador, said. "So, I visited some universities and wanted to visit more, particularly those in Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, and Quetta, but the current coronavirus crisis hampered the plan. We will ensure that the planned Japanese language courses are completed as soon as things return to normal."
