The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in Lahore has suggested that the Higher Education Commission (HEC) be notified of the investigation report against the University of Gujrat (UoG) for violating regulations.
According to reliable sources, the institution enrolled students with less than a 50% grade point average, which was in violation of the university's eligibility criteria of 60%.
The anti-corruption watchdog launched an official investigation against the University of Gujrat in June 2020 after receiving complaints. The agency has now recommended that individuals implicated in the incident face severe consequences.
