Husband Kills Wife in Quetta for Wanting to Pursue Studies
SHO Amir Muhammad Dasti told the media that a murder case under 302 has been filed against the victim's husband, but the suspect has already escaped. In his statement, he said a preliminary investigation was carried out with the uncle of the accused, who claimed the woman had been shot dead by her husband. Amna Bibi attended Sardar Bahadur Khan Womens' University and was a resident of Quetta.
The victim's father, a retired civil servant, told reporters that Amna Bibi was about 20 years old and married about a year ago. Following her FSC, she applied to medical colleges but wasn't admitted, so she joined a university instead, joining BS Education in Sardar Bahadur Khan Womens' University.
Police have taken the vehicle of the accused into custody, while the investigation into the murder of the woman is underway, but no arrest has been made yet, according to the SHO Amir Muhammad.
