Unlike previous years when the entire batch of nominated students could fly to China for the study trip, the program was moved online due to COVID-19. However, two top students will be picked at the end of the week and sent to China for further study in 2021.
Since the first batch of Pakistani students traveled to China in 2015, the Seeds for the Future program has been a productive addition to Huawei's social-enterprise partnership objective in Pakistan. The program's goal, which has been thriving since its launch in Thailand in over 126 countries & regions, has been to develop upcoming STEM talent from around the world. As a global ICT leading company, Huawei has taken on supporting local ICT industries in their functional regions as part of development.
