HU offers admissions to International universities’ offer holders amid travel restriction crises
Habib University has announced a special provision for international universities’ offer holders amid the crises where around millions of foreign students are at risk of being frozen out of International colleges.
While talking to a local news channel, the President of Habib University, Wasif Akbar Rizvi assured that his institute cares for bright students of Pakistan who made it to the international universities and now facing troubles due to the ongoing travel restrictions and international laws.
“Habib University is an internationally recognized university, therefore, the students can apply for a semester, pick individual courses or apply for a transfer, or can even study at HU as a permanent student, they will not be required to go through any admission process”, he said.
According to Habib University's official social media, students can spend a semester, a year, or take specific courses with the university, which will start Fall 2020.
However, it is pertinent to note that the US government has rescinded a rule announced earlier that would have required international students to transfer schools or leave the country if their colleges hold classes entirely online next semester because of the coronavirus pandemic.
