HEC instructs students on degree attestation process
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has instructed students not to laminate/plastic coat their educational documents in order to properly stamp the documents.
“[The] HEC verifies the degrees awarded by the recognized universities. As per the instructions available on our website, the applicants are required to communicate through email on an individual basis during the process of online application,” stated HEC.

HEC has asked the students to follow the instructions specified by HEC including the instructions related attestation of degrees recognized by the Universities/Degree Awarding Institutes (DAIs) of Pakistan. It stated that any degree issued by foreign Universities/Degree Awarding Institutions (DAIs) is not attested by the HEC.
Furthermore, it was clarified that the HEC issues equivalence letters for the foreign degrees and all the equivalence certificates are attested and certified by the HEC through its online portal.
