‘Early Years Education Talkfest’ hosted by the City School
The 'Early Years Education (EYE) Talkfest' event was organized by the City School in Islamabad.
The academic community reflected on the number of inferences, perceptions, and inspirations regarding play-based approaches in the early years, moving from an interdisciplinary to a transdisciplinary approach.
Among the guests of honor was Dr. Farzana, the group's chairperson.
The Regional Director for EYE, Sabahat Khan Tatari, stressed the importance of inclusivity in ensuring equity to develop and enrich young learners' experiences.
Dr. Fatima Dar moderated a discussion session to cultivate children's imagination, creativity, empathy, and critical thinking skills.
In her presentation, Dr. Shelina Bhamani bridged the idea of global citizenship with classroom practice.
Educators, administrators, policymakers, and researchers attended the event who agreed that the foundation stage must be taken to the next level.
