Two Day Conference "AI Connect" to Showcase Pakistan's Artificial Intelligence Potential
A two-day artificial intelligence (AI) conference called "AI Connect" will begin on Wednesday in Lahore with the goal of highlighting Pakistan's potential in the field. Motive, a reputable US-based business with a substantial group located in Pakistan, is arranging the program.
The conference will be "filled with keynotes, panel discussions, and networking sessions with the world's leading AI researchers, engineers, and entrepreneurs," according to Ali Hasan, the startup's engineering manager.
It expands the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in hitherto underserved sectors of the physical economy, including transportation, building, energy, agriculture, and related supply chain industries.
To transfer products worth trillions of dollars, these corporations continue to need intricate procedures. It is pricy, ineffective, time-consuming, and more significantly, insensitive to climate change. Motive provides them with the tools they need to enhance the productivity, safety, and effectiveness of their operations.
Because it created its major AI team in Lahore, Motive has been an outlier. By deploying their AI to hundreds of thousands of IoT devices in the field to carry out various automated tasks, this team has achieved significant progress over the last few years.
Pakistan has a growing young population and is the fifth-largest nation on Earth by population. Along with being a fantastic engineering hub, our information technology (IT) sector is expanding.
Over 600,000 IT experts work for us, and 25,000 new graduates join the industry every year. Over 120 countries are served by our approximately 17,000 software companies, who generated $3 billion in IT export revenue last year.
However, despite a large talent pool and reputable colleges, there aren't many businesses offering services or startups developing products in the AI sector.
Motive is holding its first AI conference in Pakistan in an effort to advance AI, close the industry-academia gap, and inspire more engineering talent to pursue the field. Motive's first AI conference in Pakistan is called AI Connect. It has an outstanding speaker schedule that includes some of the best industry experts, leading venture capitalists, and entrepreneurs in the globe.
It aspires to inspire, educate, and connect the upcoming generation of AI researchers and engineers who will contribute to the global AI economy. On July 13 and 14, 2022, at the PC Hotel Lahore, there will be two days packed of keynote addresses, fireside chats, panel discussions, and networking opportunities.
