Balochistan University closed due to missing students
Baluchistan University (BU) has been closed till further notice, according to a notification issued by the university administration on Tuesday.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Registrar Office sent a notice late Tuesday stating that the university would be closed beginning November 10th. All academic and administrative matters at the university will be suspended, according to the notification.

The news came just hours after students shut down the university and boycotted the ongoing MA/MSc exams in protest of two students who went missing. No faculty, employees, or students were permitted to enter the university grounds.
Student leaders have stated that the academic process would be suspended until the missing persons have been found. Sohail and Safi Baloch, two students, were reported missing from the varsity hostel a few days ago.

Students protesting said they raised the issue with the university administration, but it did nothing, forcing them to demonstrate.
Newly-elected Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, on the other hand, has created a three-member parliamentary committee to undertake talks with Baluchistan University students. After meeting with the students, the committee will give its report within 24 hours.
