Additional 20 marks will be given to students who plant trees, Zartaj Gul
Minister of State for Climate Change Zartaj Gul Wazir has said that a special rule granting 20 additional marks to students will soon be integrated into Prime Minister’s Ten Billion Tree Tsunami plantation project.
While giving an interview to APP, the state minister said that the government plans to propose a unique and innovative idea making it compulsory for all university graduates to plant 20 trees under PM Imran Khan’s clean and green Pakistan.

Minister talked about the legislation that would make the planting of 20 trees mandatory for all university graduates while making institutes and varsities responsible for allocating the site.
She said that the government fully supports this initiative to involve youth in the movement to plant more trees in the country.
She added that the PM wants to make the environment safe and sustainable through natural conservation for future generations.

“Prime Minister Imran Khan, to this end, not only offered the idea of a clean, green, and prosperous Pakistan but also put it into practice. He has introduced several revolutionary initiatives for environmental preservation,” she added.
