University students spend day with army troops at Lahore Garrison
Aim was to enlighten students on the routine functioning, organisation and defence capability of the Pakistan Army
Students from various universities in Lahore spent a day with the Pakistan Army at its Lahore Garrison on Saturday, according to a press release issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
"The programme was specifically organised to enlighten students on the routine functioning of Pakistan Army, its organisation and defence capability," the military's media wing stated.

The communique further added that students showed keen interest while riding on tanks and armoured vehicles.
The students also praised the state of morale, commitment and professional competence of the Pakistan Army, the ISPR added.
In 2017, Pakistan Army invited some 400 students from Rawalpindi to spend a day with the troops and be enlightened about the functioning of the military.
The programme was designed by Rawalpindi Corps. The group of students belonged to different schools, colleges, and varsities who spent a whole day with the army personnel to their organisation and the defence capability.
