Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT)

Registration for "Batch-III" students will continue until October 3rd for the HEC exams.

In order to accommodate the third batch of students who wish to take the Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT), the Education Testing Council (ETC), Higher Education Commission (HEC) has announced that its website, etc.hec.gov.pk, will remain open until October 3rd, 2022 midnight.

The USAT will take place on October 16th, 2022. Any changes to the test date will be communicated to applicants individually as well as via email/text message.

In Pakistan, the ETC conducts USAT for admission to universities at an undergraduate level. Designed on the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) pattern, the USAT covers all known disciplines of Engineering, Medicine (Allied Health), IT, Management and Social Sciences at the undergraduate level. All relevant universities accepting the USAT, like the SAT, will accept students who qualify respective USATs.

USAT is open to students who have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or equivalent/Grade 12 education and are waiting for their results.

ETC conducts the USAT based on six academic streams: USAT-E for Pre-Engineering, USAT-M for Pre-Medical, USAT-A for Arts & Humanities, USAT-CS for Computer Science, USAT-GS for General Science, and USAT-Com for Commerce.
