UET will build a new smart campus and upgrade its IT curriculum
In conjunction with Huawei, the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Taxila plans to enhance its information technology curriculum and construct a state-of-the-art futuristic IT campus.
UET Taxila already hosts the Huawei ICT Academy, a school-business collaboration programme designed to help institutions and businesses work together more effectively.
At UET Taxila, Huawei ICT training modules are already part of the CS and IT curriculum. The institution aspires to develop graduates who are highly skilled and meet industrial standards.
President Dr. Arif Alvi praised Huawei's ICT Academy cooperation with UET Taxila in a recent speech, saying that the programme will foster the talent of thousands of students undertaking training at the academy.
The Coronavirus epidemic has disturbed ordinary life, including the academic process, all across the world, including in Pakistan, two years ago.
UET Taxila was one of the first universities in the country to switch to online learning, allowing students to continue their studies on their smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
