The pressure of studying took the life of another innocent student
In Karachi, a heartless father set his son ablaze for not answering his questions about school properly. The son died after being treated for two days after his father sprinkled kerosene on him and set him on fire in Orangi Town's Iqbal Market area.
A case was filed and the accused was arrested by the police.
On September 14th, the accused’s 12-year-old son asked his father to let him fly a kite, according to the police. In return, when the father asked about his son’s studies, the child had no response. The lack of a proper response apparently triggered his anger, resulting in the accused pouring kerosene on his son and lit matches on him, fatally injuring the boy.
On hearing the boy’s screams, his mother also rushed to his side, while the father covered him with blankets and clothes. He died on September 16th.
