The Latest on Swabi University's Huge Processing Fee
Established in Khyber Pakthunkhwa, circa 2012, Swabi University is known for its high quality education and dedication to a more literate Pakistan. However, it isn't the students who are facing an issue at the moment.
Recently, the institute has called for citizens to apply for administrative positions; but here's where it gets tricky. For the application alone, potential candidates are required to submit a significantly large sum of money, either through a bank deposit or online transfer. Currently, for the alleged 7 positions vacant for grade 17, the fee deposit amount is Rs. 5,000 for each seat in that respective year. Subsequently, for the positions vacant in grades 18 and 20, the fee to submit for each seat is Rs. 5,500 and Rs. 6,500.
To date Swabi University has demanded a considerably higher application processing fee than the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) and the KP Public Service Commission (KPPSC).
According to previously recorded statistics, KPPSC charges a non-refundable appliction processing fee, Rs. 500, for posts of grades 17, 18, and 20. FPSC charges Rs. 300 as a processing fee for grade 17, Rs. 750 for grade 18, and Rs. 1,500 for grade 21.
