Summer vacations for Sindh schools and colleges announced

Sindh's government has scheduled two-month summer vacations for all public and private schools and colleges in the state from June 1 to July 31, 2022. The decision was made at a meeting of the Sindh Education and Literacy Department's (SELD) Steering Committee on Tuesday, which was chaired by Syed Sardar Ali Shah, the provincial Minister for Education.

The chairpersons of school boards, as well as officials from the SELD and the Ministry of Education, attended the meeting, and it was determined that the annual examinations for Grades 4 to 8 would begin on May 2nd.

The summer holidays will take place between June 1 and July 31, and the new academic year will begin on August 1st, according to the Steering Committee. In addition, the winter holiday period will run from December 22 to December 31.
