Summer Vacations are Officially Over in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Schools opened after summer vacation in the plains of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
After the KPK government withdrew its announcement to keep schools closed till August 31st, educational institutions have reopened after the summer break.
Earlier, due to the heat-wave and extreme temperatures in the summer, the provincial government had announced that schools will open from September 1st instead of August 15th, increasing the summer holidays duration.
However, schools have in fact opened and students have resumed regular activities.
