Students hold provincial-wide protest has been announced against the closure of the Peshawar University
In response to the teachers' protests, a province-wide protest was called by the students' organization. Jamiat-e-Talaba Islami has announced that protests will be held in all universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa over the closure of Peshawar University.
Neither the government nor the administration have spoken out about the university's closure for a month. A protest rally will be held across the province starting tomorrow to support the university's start of classes
In the past three weeks, Peshawar University students have missed classes, which have affected their education. There will be serious consequences for the students' exams if there are not enough classes available.
After the killing of the security supervisor at Peshawar University, the teachers' organization protested.
According to the teachers' organization, the strike will continue until the vice-chancellor resigns.
