SSC and HSSC examinations to be held in May and June, says Mahmood
The Federal Minister for Education, Shafqat Mahmood, has stressed implementing a uniform academic session from August 2021, and directed the board to hold the SSC and HSSC examinations as scheduled in May and June.

According to reports, the minister talked about various academic mechanisms during his visit to the Secretariat for Inter Board Committee of Chairman (IBCC). The minister recommended that practical examinations be upgraded to better standards or alternate for the same should be introduced. He also advised introducing a technology-driven grading system and integrating the MCQs to the exams’ format. In this regard, he assured that the ministry would provide training to all the Board’s officers.
While speaking to the officers at IBCC, the minister said that the UAN number had been started whereas, the online portal and website are still under production. He also suggested that many IT professionals be hired to complete all the activities and tasks at IBCC.

The secretary of IBCC, Ghulam Ali Mallah, briefed the minister regarding the Board’s activities. The minister commended IBCC for its overall performance.
