Sindh to announce new admission policy and academic calendar for schools and colleges
Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah convened a meeting of the education steering committee on Tuesday, 22 February to finalize a new academic calendar and admission policy for educational institutions in the state for the academic year 2022-23.
The exams, summer, and winter holiday dates will also be decided during the steering committee meeting, as well as the school and college calendars throughout the province.
The meeting will be attended by secretary colleges, chairmen of provincial education bodies, and other high authorities.

It is important to note that in 2021, academic activities were disrupted by the coronavirus, and schools were shuttered for the most of the year. The education ministers, on the other hand, had resolved to finish the course this year.
The meeting will also assess the COVID-19 situation in the province and make appropriate decisions.
