Sindh postpones the reopening of schools for secondary classes
The Minister of Education Sindh Saeed Ghani has said while talking to the Press Conference on Thursday that schools in Sindh are ill-prepared for COVID-19 SOPs, and some schools are even sealed for not following the SOP guidelines.
The minister said that the conditions are expected to worsen; therefore, we have decided to postpone the reopening of schools for grades six to eight from September 21 to September 28.

It is pertinent to note that At least 22 educational institutions across Pakistan have been closed in the last 48 hours due to non-compliance with health protocols or standard operating procedures (SOPs), according to the National Command Operation Center official.
Sixteen educational institutions were closed in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), one in Islamabad, and five in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).

The educational institutions reopened on September 15 after closed in March due to the Covid-19 virus outbreak.
