Sindh government announces closure of all educational institutions
KARACHI: The Sindh government has announced the closure of all educational institutes, including universities, colleges, and schools across the province.
According to Express-News, a Corona Task Force meeting was held under the chairmanship of Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, in which it was decided to close schools, colleges, and other educational institutions.
Sindh government spokesman Barrister Murtaza Wahab announced on social networking site Twitter that all schools, colleges, and universities are being closed due to the rising rate of corona cases.
The Sindh government spokesman said that all educational institutions are being closed down. I wish people would follow SOPs and wear masks. The situation is very worrying, and if the people do not show responsibility, the government will have no choice but to make tough decisions.
